LE SSERAFIM, the rising powerhouse of K-pop, has once again captured the hearts of fans around the world with their latest title track "CRAZY." The song has become their most successful release in the United States, making history for the group and setting a new bar for their career. Last week, “CRAZY” made a stunning debut at No. 76 on Billboard’s prestigious Hot 100 chart, which ranks the most popular songs in the U.S. This achievement marks LE SSERAFIM's highest-ever ranking on the chart, showcasing the group’s growing influence in the global music scene. In an even more remarkable feat, "CRAZY" has become LE SSERAFIM’s first song to spend more than one week on the Hot 100. In its second week, the song remained strong, charting at No. 88. This milestone makes LE SSERAFIM only the fourth K-pop girl group in history to chart a song on the Hot 100 for more than one week, placing them alongside legendary names such as BLACKPINK, NewJeans, and FIFTY FIFTY.

Beyond the Hot 100, the group's chart success continued on multiple Billboard rankings. "CRAZY" claimed an impressive No. 2 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, which tracks the top-selling digital songs worldwide. It also secured the No. 16 spot on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, and ranked No. 22 on the Global 200 chart, further proving the song’s global appeal and reach. This level of success reflects not only LE SSERAFIM's growing fanbase but also their ability to deliver music that resonates across borders. The group's mini album CRAZY, which dropped on August 30, 2024, has also made waves on the Billboard charts. In its second week, the album ranked No. 54 on the Billboard 200, a prestigious chart that tracks the most popular albums in the U.S. across all genres. Additionally, the album dominated the World Albums chart, coming in at No. 2, while it also claimed the No. 8 spot on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart. These accomplishments highlight the group’s strong album sales, both in physical and digital formats, solidifying their presence in the U.S. music market.

LE SSERAFIM’s achievements this era don’t stop there. The group also re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 chart, coming in at No. 28. This marks their 13th overall week on the chart, which ranks the most influential artists across all genres based on factors such as album and song sales, radio airplay, and streaming performance. Their continued presence on this chart is a testament to their growing global impact and recognition. Released in August 2024, CRAZY is the fourth mini album by LE SSERAFIM and features a collection of diverse tracks that showcase the group’s versatility. The album includes multiple versions, including three main editions (Vol. 1, Vol. 2, Vol. 3), a special "Balaclava" version, five member-specific Compact editions, and two Weverse Album (QR code) versions, catering to both collectors and casual fans alike. This creative approach to physical album releases demonstrates the group's innovative strategies to engage fans and enhance their buying experience.

Musically, CRAZY features standout tracks that have captivated fans worldwide. The song "1-800-hot-n-fun," for instance, was first performed during LE SSERAFIM’s set at the 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, making a splash with its full-English lyrics and catchy beat. Another notable track, "Pierrot," samples Kim Wan-Sun’s 1990 song "The Pierrot Laughs at Us," adding a nostalgic touch to the modern K-pop production. Since their debut on May 2, 2022, with the mini album Fearless, LE SSERAFIM has been steadily climbing the ranks of the K-pop industry. Managed by Source Music, a subsidiary of HYBE Corporation, the group initially debuted with six members but now promotes as a five-member act. Despite early challenges, including the departure of former member Kim Garam, the group has shown resilience and determination, living up to their name, which is an anagram of "I'm Fearless." This name embodies the group’s self-confidence and unwavering will to move forward, regardless of obstacles.
