On August 17, Kakao Entertainment proudly announced an innovative partnership that will bring forth two captivating ventures – the omnibus webtoon titled “NCT: Dream Contact” and the engrossing web novel “Rise & Realize” – both the result of the synergy between these two industry powerhouses. Fans and enthusiasts alike can look forward to a new chapter in the K-pop narrative as SM Entertainment and Kakao Entertainment usher in an era of unparalleled creativity and connection through their collaborative IP projects.

The forthcoming webtoon “NCT: Dream Contact” sets the stage for an extraordinary narrative adventure within the expansive universe of NCT. Comprising a total of five episodes, this omnibus-style webtoon takes the audience on a mesmerizing journey where dreams serve as the conduit for people to connect and unite through the harmonious force of music. Noteworthy writers ZQ, Seogeul, and Kim Ho Ae have lent their creative talents to this exceptional project, crafting a storyline that promises to resonate across borders. The webtoon is slated for a simultaneous release in North America and Japan via Kakao Webtoon and Kakao Page on August 18 at 10 p.m. KST.

For fans of the upcoming SM rookie boy group RIIZE, the web novel “Rise & Realize” brings forth an immersive exploration of growth and determination. This heartwarming tale follows the members of RIIZE as they navigate through life’s challenges, evolving into the artists they aspire to be. With a total of eight engaging episodes, the web novel will unfold weekly, starting from August 19, exclusively on Kakao Page. The collaborative efforts of esteemed writer No Gon and talented illustrator Nak Di have resulted in a narrative that is poised to capture the hearts of readers worldwide.

NCT (Neo Culture Technology), the revolutionary South Korean boy band managed by SM Entertainment, has consistently pushed boundaries since its inception in January 2016.
