The second night of SHINee’s 15th anniversary fan meeting in Seoul was also streamed online via Beyond LIVE. The fan meetup was not only a celebration of SHINee’s 15th anniversary, but it was also the group’s first action as a whole in over two years, as Taemin had only recently been freed from the military. Before singing “The Feeling,” their new unreleased song, Taemin surprised fans with some exciting news for the coming months. A three-night concert by SHINee will take place at Seoul’s KSPO Dome next month on June 23, 24, and 25. This was the final announcement made by Taemin. With a giant billboard advertisement on the Megabox Seongsu theater in Seoul last week, SM Entertainment made a hint about SHINee’s planned June comeback.
SHINee is a four-member boy group formed by SM Entertainment in 2008. They made their SBS Inkigayo debut with their promotional song “Replay” on May 25. Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin were the original five members of the group. SHINee has released five full-length albums (in Korean, with one being a separate double-album release), five mini-albums, four live albums, and several singles since their debut. They have also received numerous prizes, performed four concert tours, and appeared in their own reality series. SHINee is regarded as a fashion icon for launching the “SHINee Trend” and is noted for their highly synchronized and intricate dancing.
