K-Pop Girl Group Laysha to Return with New Single in June

The K-Pop girl group’s management company, Double Media, announced on May 25 KST that “Red Flower” will be released on June 9 following the recent completion of the music video shoot. The new song fuses traditional Korean instruments with hip-hop and electronic dance music. The new single comes about three and a half years after their last release, the mini album ‘Freedom’ in December 2019. During the lengthy absence, the group’s lineup changed, and it now consists of Goeun, Rahye, Chaejin, Bitna, and Sia. Meanwhile, Laysha prepares a performance and fan meeting to celebrate her comeback.

LAYSHA (레이샤) is a five-member girl group under S Media Entertainment. JS Entertainment created them as a dance performance group before making their musical debut with the self-titled digital single “Laysha” on May 12, 2015. Boreum left LAYSHA due to health difficulties, it was reported on their Instagram on March 29, 2023. As a result, LAYSHA will remain with three members. LAYSHA announced the arrival of two new members, Bitna and Rahye, on April 3. Chaejin would also adopt the stage name Rizell. However, she quickly returned to promoting as Chaejin. LAYSHA was confirmed to have transferred to S Media Entertainment on April 12.
