Sungchan and Shotaro, two members of the NCT, a boy band with many members, have recently announced their resignation, according to SM Entertainment. Sungchan and Shotaro will depart from NCT in order to make their debut in a new boy group, according to the agency’s announcement, which was published on May 24 KST. SM Entertainment is anticipated to debut the new boy group by the third quarter of 2023. Additionally, SM Entertainment disclosed its plans to announce the formation of the new unit to fans as well as to recruit additional regional members to NCT’s Japanese unit, which will put an end to NCT’s limitless expansion. On October 12, 2020, Sungchan and Shotaro made their NCT debuts as performers in the NCT 2020 album “Resonance Pt. 1.”
NCT (Ensiti; an acronym for Neo Culture Technology) is a South Korean boy band formed and managed by SM Entertainment. The group, which debuted in January 2016, now has 20 members and is made up of the five sub-units NCT U, NCT 127, Dream, WayV, and NCT DoJaeJung.
