Girl Group VIVIZ To Perform On The GRAMMYs’ “Global Spin”

On April 22, Big Planet Made officially announced that the “rookie” girl group VIVIZ consisting of GFRIEND‘s Eunha, SinB, and Umji would be the first K-pop girl group ever to perform on the GRAMMYs’ “Global Spin” show. On April 22 at midnight KST, the teaser poster for the event was released, revealing the date of the girl group’s performance. VIVIZ (비비지) is a three-member girl group under BPM Entertainment. They made their debut on February 9, 2022 with the mini album Beam of Prism. “VIVIZ” is short for “VIVId dayZ” and signifies that the group will become artists who confidently express their colors in the world.

VIVIZ will be performing their debut track “BOP BOP!” for the GRAMMY.com performance series, which spotlights artists from around the world while also celebrating their home countries. VIVIZ’s performance, which the production team at “Global Spin” is said to have described as “so cool, it’s unbelievable,” will be released on the GRAMMYs’ official website on April 26 at 10 a.m. PT. The only other Korean artists to have performed on the show to date are B.I, Seori, and ATEEZ. GRAMMY’s Global Spin is a concert series produced by Grammy in order to promote global music. There have already been Korean artists such as B.I. and Seori who performed in this special concert.

On October 6, 2021, it was announced that former GFRIEND members Eunha, SinB, and Umji had signed under BPM Entertainment to re-debut as a three-member group. On October 12, it was announced the group would be joining the K-pop platform UNIVERSE on the 15th. On October 14, VIVIZ held their first scheduled activity for the 2022 S/S ULKIN LSD Collection at Seoul Fashion Week. On January 24, 2022 a coming soon teaser was posted on the company’s Twitter account confirming their debut with their first mini album Beam of Prism, which was released on February 9. On February 21, Mnet revealed that the group would be participating in their reality show, Queendom 2, which began airing on March 31.
